ABOUT ME

My name is Dr. Silvia Solari, and I am a cardiac surgeon with international

training and over ten years of experience in high-level university hospitals.

I graduated in Medicine and Surgery from the University of Genoa (Italy) in 2008. During an Erasmus program in Lisbon (2005–2006), I was first drawn to cardiac surgery — a passion that has guided my career ever since. In 2008, I completed a Master in Pediatric Cardiac Surgery at the Faculdade de Medicina de São José do Rio Preto (FAMERP) in Brazil, under the direction of Prof. A. Croti.

I completed my cardiac surgery residency between Italy and Belgium, obtaining my specialization from the University of Genoa in 2014 and from the Université Catholique de Louvain (UCLouvain) in 2015.

I currently focus on adult cardiac surgery, with particular expertise in aortic valve surgery (both conventional and minimally invasive), as well as mitral valve, aortic and coronary artery procedures. My approach is rooted in precision, multidisciplinary collaboration, and personalized patient care.

I work fluently in Italian, French, and English, and I am committed to providing not only surgical excellence but also empathy, clarity, and continuity — key values that build trust throughout each patient’s journey.
